The screening of films at the 15th International Film Festival started at Kalabhavan theatre today. Two films from the Forget Africa category ‘Cameroon Love Letter’, directed by Khavn De La Cruz and ‘Unreal Forest’ by Jakrawal Nilthamrong were screened in the opening slot. Sharman Ong’s ‘Memories of a burning tree’ followed by Pia Sawhney’s ‘Rwanda: Take Two’ are being screened at the Sree theatre.
Screenings of two films from the World Cinema section are also on. While the Polish film Little Rose, directed by Jan Kidawa- Blonski is on Kairali, the Turkish film ‘Black and White’ by Ahmed Boyacioglu is being screened at Kalabhavan.
